Paid for by the Committee to Elect Linda Kaye for Imperial Beach City Council Dist 4
Take action today for a healthier Imperial Beach!
Complainers only complain, but "complainters" get things done. After receiving just 150 complaints, the U.S. International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC) was fined by the Air Pollution Control District for repeatedly releasing raw sewage beginning July 16th, waking many from their sleep. Imagine how effective 27,000 residents could be if we filed 150 complaints a day!
"Squeaky Wheels" Get Oiled!
The pollution has closed our beaches over 900 days and been plaguing our health and beaches for too long. It’s time to start "complainting" to the right people.

LINDA KAYE
A Daughter Returns to Imperial Beach
I'm Linda Kaye, a proud daughter of Imperial Beach. I grew up here, but left to pursue my dreams in business. Now, I'm back with a mission - to address the decades-long environmental catastrophe plaguing our beloved city.
For far too long, Imperial Beach has been the site of one of the longest environmental disasters in U.S. history. Millions of gallons of raw sewage from Tijuana have been flowing into the ocean, contaminating our beaches and putting the health of our people at risk for decades!
The numbers are staggering - up to 35 million gallons of sewage discharged daily, over 100 billion gallons since 2018, and 34,000 illnesses in 2017 alone, attributed to the polluted water. It's no wonder our beaches have been closed for over 900 straight days.
It's time to put Imperial Beach first and demand the change we deserve. Join me in this fight for a cleaner, healthier future for our city. Together, we can make a difference and restore the beauty and safety of our beaches.
Just like you, I want to see Imperial Beach a cleaner and safer beach for everyone.
